what i do

I'm a User Experience Architect (UXA) and former Web Designer/Front End Developer. My role as a UXA involves ensuring that Web sites and applications are easy to use. So if you're trying to find information or complete a task online, my job is to make that as easy and productive as possible.

Formerly, I was a Web Designer/Front End Developer. At that time I was responsible for designing the look and feel of site interfaces, and writing the "front end" code, or code that controls display of what you see on the screen.

In all, my current and past experience consists of: site planning, wireframing, information architecture, usability testing, accessibility compliance, Web page design, illustration, cartography, iconography, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

freelance design

I occasionally take on freelance projects involving Web design, front end development, and UX. Please contact me for more information.

a little more about me

My hobbies include a lot of reading, listening to music, exercising, cooking, and occasional traveling. I graduated with honors from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (and specialization in Web/new media). I am originally from southern New Jersey, but I now reside in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, just west of Philadelphia.
