I’m a user experience (UX) designer and faculty member at Center Centre, the UX design school in Chattanooga, TN. I prepare students to be industry-ready, junior UX designers.
I dedicate much of my time to the UX community. I founded the Chattanooga UX Design Meetup, the first professional organization dedicated to UX design in Chattanooga. I speak internationally at conferences such as SXSWi, Midwest UX, IA Summit, UX Camp Ottawa, and UX Cambridge (UK). I publish articles for aspiring UX designers on my blog. I’m also a voracious reader of design books and business books.
Before joining Center Centre, I worked in the Philadelphia area as a senior experience designer at Happy Cog and the lead UX designer at AWeber. While in Philadelphia, I spoke at dozens of meetups and local events. I taught classes for Girl Develop It, led UX Book Club, and served on the board of Philadelphia’s UX community, PhillyCHI.
