In a Nutshell
I’m a Philadelphia-based User Experience (UX) designer and researcher who speaks, writes, and volunteers for many things UX. I’ve spoken internationally at conferences such as SXSW, IA Summit, UX Camp Ottawa, and UX Cambridge (UK). I teach for Girl Develop It Philadelphia. I’m the main organizer for UX Book Club Philly, and I served on the board of PhillyCHI, Philadelphia’s UX community, from 2009-2010. I’m currently a senior UX designer/researcher at AWeber; prior to AWeber, I worked at Happy Cog as a senior UX designer.
I’m passionate about making everything I interact with both easy and enjoyable to use. I drive my family nuts by complaining about the plastic film on food containers that can’t be removed without a knife.
Outside of work, I like to cook and read. I’m also frequently enjoying a fine glass of Malbec or an IPA.
